It's HERE!!

My beautiful mixer arrived today and I just LOVE the colour. It took 10 business days to arrive but that’s because it came from Las Vegas and I’m sure a little gambling may have been taking place. It blends in with my pumpkin canisters and, yes, even a little pumpkin from the garden.

I’ve already played with the switches and have found it to be quite a quiet machine. The paint is like a factory finished Ferrari, well okay, I guess that might be a little over the top. Oh well it’s just down right stunning.

It's found its place of honour and I will post later (maybe much later, the weather is fantastic) about how it is to use. Right now it is too darn hot to cook or bake. I can’t wait to post my first creation!

The Witch is over the moon right now!!!!!

Gorgeous! Not many kitchens could pull off the tangerine color, but yours does! Can't wait to see what you make first :-) I am still using mine for an average of 3-4 recipes/week :-)

HELLO!! I have to tell you that I thought of you the other day when I was in Macys and saw 'your mixer' in 'your color' I could see why you liked the color--It really is the Ferrari of mixers, and I know you will love it--I'm glad that it made it to you safely!

I just found this post on Saving4Later's blogroll, and just going by the title I was like "Kitchenaid?". It seems the entire blogosphere covets that mixer, and I'm no exception.

I hope you have lots of fun with it! It's gorgeous!

(I'm still trying to convince The Boyfriend that I'd make him all the cookies he could ever want if he bought it for me....no luck yet, but I'm wearing him down...)

Hey, twe1vegir1,

Just as a suggestion, treat The Boyfriend to a long evening at the beer bistro first and then just sorta kinda wander into a kitchen store on the way home. You do know his PIN number, don't you?

The new mixer is nice, so nice. I can't stop stroking it every time I'm in the kitchen!

Wow...I LOVE it!! I really like the color too! I'm a pumpkin fan! Isn't it just great when you go out and get something that you have always wanted? Just gorgeous!! I'll bet you are going to have a blast using it!!

hehe...I love this plan!

Ply The Boyfriend with beer and then have my way with him...um...his debit card.

Love it!

What have you made so far with it? I'd be making excuses just to mix things...oh look! eggs!

It's like 90C here at 8:30 PM right now here on the Witch's Island, that's only slightly cooler than twe1vegir1's mind thinking about accessing The Boyfriend's bank account. For all the rest of you, well, it's just too hot to do anything but BBQ on the deck and only that after the sun goes down.

I do have a very special recipe planned for the first day I can use both the mixer and the oven, but for now all I can do is admire my new baby from across the room.

Very fancy dancy. I went for a more conservative colour, cream for mine. Must say I was sorely tempted to buy the red one though.

Enjoy it.
